More GREAT news to share

Dear Supporters:

 

First, I must say, THANK YOU so much on the behalf of Sara, her family and myself.  All of you are amazing.  Your continued support has meant so much to Sara and her case.

 

Secondly, I received over 800 emails between June 1, 2010 and today.  I would like to share that I recently lost my dad with a long battle of illnesses.  As a result, I have been away traveling for a little over 1 month.  With that being said, please forgive me for not being able to keep up in responding to all of your emails and posted messages during this difficult time.  However, please know that I have received all of your Letter's of Support, Your Questions, Comments, etc.... and will be getting back to you by the end of this week.  ((I would like to also like to thank those of you who have been able to actively  respond to other supporters on Sara's website.))

 

The Great news is that Sara's sentence has been officially Vacated as of July 21, 2010.  This means that she will go in front of a judge for resentencing very soon.  I will give all of your letters of support to Sara's attorney's to be passed to the judge. 

Important:  Please no letter's to the judge directly, no letter's to the former sentencing judge.  You may send all letter's of support to me in the Body of the Email.  Please no attachments.  I will inform everyone of the re-sentencing date as soon as the date has been given.  You may email me at:  kimdeanne@freesarakruzan.org

Hi Kim! As always, it's been my pleasure to do whatever I can to support Sara in her quest for justice and freedom. I would give ANYTHING to be there in person to show my support, but I live in Maryland, and it would cost me $600+ for the flight and two nights in a hotel near the Ontario airport. That's $600 I don't have right now. So God's gonna have to grant me a miracle to make it happen!! Otherwise, I will take some time off from work that day, and spend the afternoon in church somewhere, on my knees in prayer....

Hi Kim, I'm just in the middle of a study break from some writing courses and I wanted to ask if you can keep me posted about the schedule for Sara's re-sentencing appeal. August 10 seems cool so far. I've got a dentist's appointment on the 11th and I have an appointment with my physician on the 19th. As far as other dates go, if there's an abrupt change further in the month I have my Fall '10 college semester starting August 23rd. I'll do the best I can to be there for support if you welcome it :) .

Oh, I found the message I typed that will hopefully work wonders for Sara's defense. I'm re-sending it on Facebook to you right about now. I hope that it comes in very wonderful use :D .

Thankyou for everything that you do for all of us who support Sara Kruzan and thanks again for how far out on a limb you go for Sara. That's very wonderful of you.

Wish I could be there for the resentencing but August is going to be a crazy month at work. I'll will definitely have Sara in my thoughts and prayers on that day!

Hi Fred... thank you so much for your continued support and I greatly appreciate your condolences. Sara's resentencing date has been schedule for August 10 @ 1:30pm. This date can change, but I will keep everyone informed as quickly as possible. I am so happy!!!!!!

Dear Kim,
Sorry to hear of the loss of your Father... I do know how heart wrenching that is, as I lost mt Dad to a sudden heart attack five and a half years ago.
Sounds like wonderful news for Sara... she is in my prayers and I look forward to the next progress update. I may be on the other side of the world in Australia, but Sara's story has truly touched my heart. I wish you both all the very best for the future.

Dear Kim: please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of your dad. I lost my mom several years ago, and such a tragic loss can really toss you on your butt and throw you for a loop. I can only speak for myself, but I'm sure I speak for many others here when I say "NO APOLOGY NECESSARY" about keeping up with e-mails etc.

I can't wait to find out the date for the resentencing hearing! If I can't be there in person, I plan on finding myself in a church somewhere that day, lighting candles and praying to my God for justice and for her release.

First off, thanks for all the help that you give Sara. You're definitely a fighter! :D Congratulations on the way that the case is moving ahead! That rocks!!

I also was wondering if you got my message with the text for the judge in your Facebook inbox. I sent it a little while ago. If it helps I just wanted to make sure you remembered that. I hope it was well-written. Anyway, if there's anything in the grammar or content that you feel is better to rework go ahead. I just care that Sara Kruzan has a chance that she missed out on earlier in her life.

Last but not least, I'm really really sorry about your father. I hope that you are coping well. It's a shame how some people who are dear to us and have brought us up well are taken from us all.

Best of luck Kim, in all of your endeavors :D . (And best of luck to Sara in appealing this case, but I don't think she needs any more luck. I know that in enough time she'll be in the healthy and happy place that she deserves to be.)

Bless your heart Kim for all you do for Sara! I appreciate your efforts very much! I am sure Sara is more than thrilled/blessed to have an Angel such as yourself in her corner. Your one of us who care to look at things a little differently and to do what it takes to make a difference. Again...I appreciate you! I apologize for what your going through with your dad I just lost mine in March...i will continue to keep you all in my prayers!!
